Cascadia Prepared’s main focus is to help residents, businesses, nonprofit organizations and local emergency managers work together to increase disaster resilience.

But there are many issues and policies in the public arena that will affect our region’s ability to survive and prosper after the CSZ event.  CPrep is actively working with local and state elected officials and administrators to affect priorities, policies and legislation to strengthen critical lifelines:

  • business and workforce continuity
  • coastal communities (which are in especial danger from a tsunami)
  • critical/essential buildings
  • transportation
  • energy
  • information/communications
  • water/wastewater systems.
